Up, Up, & Away!

Howdy!

Today's card is a 5" x 5" card with slightly unusual matte measurements.  To begin, I cut a cloud-shaped mask that I placed over a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of white cardstock.  I used Tempting Turquoise and a sponge along the "bumped" edge.  I continued to move the mask, altering the angle until the whole piece was full.  Then, I ran the sponge along the edge of the piece.

Next, I punched out balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Punch in Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, and Bermuda Bay.  I colored these with Clear Wink of Stella.  I adhered a Melon Mambo balloon flat to the cloud piece and attached a piece of Blushing Bride Bakers Twine with a glue dot.  I, then, added bakers twine to a Bermuda Bay and Blushing Bride balloon.  I added these to the piece with one layer of dimensionals.  I added the next Bermuda Bay balloon the same way.  The bottom Blushing Bride balloon I added the bakers twine by placing a glue dot on the back and wrapping the twine around the front.  I attached the twine the same way to the last of the balloons, but I used a double layer of dimensionals on the last Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride balloons.
I attached all the ends of twine with glue dots to the bottom right corner of the card front where I would be placing my sentiment.  I punched a "v" on the left edge of a strip of Tempting Turquoise and white cardstock using the Banner Triple Punch.  I stamped a sentiment from Happy Happenings with Memento Tuxedo Black on the white piece.  I adhered the banner pieces and popped it up on the sky panel.

I adhered this panel onto a 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper with Fast Fuse and then placed this on my Tempting Turquoise card base.
