I'm So Sorry
Howdy!
A stamping friend of mine shared that a child in her community had passed and was gracious enough to allow me and other stampers in our forum send condolence cards to the family. Since the child was a little boy, I decided to use blues and greens on a mostly white background. So, today's card is what I came up with.
I used thick white cardstock as my base and front. I started by laying down some dots from Gorgeous Grunge with Lost Lagoon ink. Then, I added the grid texture from Timeless Textures in Marina Mist ink; and, followed that up with the lines from Gorgeous Grunge in Pool Party ink. I, then, used my Simply Scored to add a ridged border a 1/4" in from the edge of the front. My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in Lost Lagoon, and punched out using the Washi Label Punch. Finally, I used a bit of twine with a Pool Party button to finish off the card.
I know that nothing can help the pain of losing a loved one, but I hope that this card can bring a smile to the family's faces during such a dark time.
Thanks for visiting!
