A 3D Chocolate Box Card

Howdy!

Here is yet another chocolate box card using the More Than Chocolate stamp set.  I hope that you are not getting tired of this set lol  This time the card has a 3D element that I have been toying with in my my mind for days, but am just now getting a chance to put to paper.

I started by scoring a piece of 6 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of Early Espresso at 3", 3 1/8", and 6 1/8" on the long side and 1/8" and 3" on the short side. After cutting away the long skinny rectangles, burnishing all my score lines, and creating my tabs, I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to create the "lid" to my chocolate box.

With that done, I stamped the wrappers from the stamp set in Early Espresso on a piece of 3" x 3" Very Vanilla.  I then filled in the wrappers with the chocolates images in Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, and Bermuda Bay ink.  This, I added to the flat part of the "chocolate box" using snail.  While still stamping, I stamped a sentiment from the set using Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla.  I, also, stamped the bitten chocolate with the sentiment using Chocolate Chip and Bermuda Bay inks.  I cut this out using the Layering Ovals Framelits and then added it to the inside of the "box" lid using dimensionals.

Now, I ran a piece of 3" x 3" Bermuda Bay and my 5" x 5" Early Espresso card base through the Garden Trellis embossing folder.   After that, I tied a bow around the Bermuda Bay piece using the Whisper White 1/8" Sheer Ribbon and added the decorated piece to the "chocolate box" using dimensionals.  Finally, I added the "box" to the card base using Fast Fuse.

Thanks for visiting!
