Mother's Day #3
Howdy!
Today's card is the second card that I made for my mother-in-law. My husband forgot to tell me that I needed to get and add a gift card to the first one, so I had to do a second one. (I do like this one more, though)
For this one, I started by stamping a background in Powder Pink and Berry Burst (our new In Colors!) on a piece of Very Vanilla using images from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set. I, also, stamped a sentiment from the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set (coming June 1) on Very Vanilla in Berry Burst and punched that out with the Classic Label Punch.
Then, I ran the "lovely" from the Lovely Words Thinlits (also coming June 1 - bundle for savings!) through the Big Shot twice - once with Berry Burst and again with Powder Pink. I added the Berry Burst outline to the stamped card front using the Fine Tip Glue Pen and used a block to weigh in down while it dried. Once it was set in place I added the inside of the heart in Powder Pink the same way.
With my lovely heart in place, I added the stamped piece to a piece of Berry Burst and then that to a Thick Very Vanilla A2 card base (Yes, Thick Very Vanilla is new, too! And, I am in LOVE!). Finally, I added the little sentiment to the card with a edge piece of dimensionals.
